A long lens camera is the standard camera on a tripod in the back of a room. A handheld camera, typically added after there is at least 1 long lens, is a mobile camera mostly used for up-close and even on stage shots. A jib, typically added after there are long lenses and handhelds, is used to get sweeping, moving camera shots.
