This is a newer sweet pea variety, but is renowned for its very powerful  scent. Consistently rated one of the most fragrant varieties! The plants should begin to bloom by late June. But, because they do not tolerate hot weather, they usually stop blooming and die after a few weeks. But what a glorious few weeks it is! To keep them blooming as long as possible, cut the flowers for the house or deadhead them so they never go to seed. Consistent watering is also helpful.
