Picnic Area Rules

1. We confirm your reservation to visit Hacienda Monte Rey in the Sabana de Luquillo neighborhood for the period indicated above. If you cancel your reservation 72 hours or less before the reservation date, you will have the right to a refund of money. Reservations are not canceled due to weather conditions, except for hurricanes and tropical storms because in this area it rains every day.

2. Any violation of an administrative order by the Governor or the Department of Health. It will cause you to cancel your reservation.

3. Please Park your vehicles in the designated areas indicated by the host, never on the Don Pepe bridge or obstructing the road.

4. Do not jump or let others jump from the bridge into the river pool.

5. We appreciate that you do not bring bottles and that you are very careful with all glass to avoid glass on the floor.

6. Visiting service is from Monday to Friday check-in is at 9 am and check-out is before 5:00 pm.

7. We cannot be responsible for the weather during the reservation period. If you leave before the end of your reservation, there will be no refund for the rest of the stay.

8. Pets are always allowed on a leash, the pet owner assumes responsibility for any damage caused by the animal to the property, campers, or visitors.

9. Do not litter around the Hacienda Monte Rey property, there is a waste disposal area at Hacienda Monte Rey near the bridge. For recycling, we provide containers for plastic (P), aluminum (A), compost (C), and trash (B).

10. In the compost container you can put uncooked fruit and vegetable peels, coffee grounds, and other biodegradable waste.

11. It is not allowed to make holes to perform human needs, the employees will present the bathrooms available on the property.

12. Smoking will be permitted on the property, but cigarette filter butts will be required to be disposed of in the trash bins. If cigarettes or trash are found on the ground when you check out, you will be charged an additional $50-$100 fee.

13. We accept that medical Cannabis patients can consume medical cannabis in their reservation, it is required to present a medical cannabis license to have administration approval. Follow the regulations of Law 42 - 2017 of the Government of Puerto Rico.

14. The administration is not responsible for the loss of belongings caused by fire, theft, accidents, or natural phenomena. It is important to be very careful when sharing in the river, and aware of blows or periodic flooding, especially on rainy days. You are responsible for any damage or loss caused by everyone on your reservation.

15. The administration reserves the right of admission and the right to evict any client or group that does not comply with the rules of the property.

16. We ask that you protect our flora and not cut flowers or remove plants, ferns, or trees from the property. Natural Resources also require permits to extract any material from the river. Fruits and fruit trees are available for sale when available.

17. If you, a member of your party, or a guest park a vehicle outside of the parking areas and your vehicle stalls, we will call a community mechanic, tow truck, or heavy equipment operator who will charge you for the service of removing the vehicle to the walkable area. We are not responsible for damage that arises in the process of salvaging the vehicle.

18. The following equipment is not allowed:

a. Electric plants

b. noisy vehicles

c. ATVs & Mountainbikes

d. Speakers

Reglas de Área de Picnic

1. Confirmamos su reservación de visita de Hacienda Monte Rey del barrio Sabana de Luquillo por el período indicado anteriormente. Si cancela su reservación en 72 horas o menos antes de la fecha de la reservación tendrá derecho de devolución de dinero. No se cancelan reservaciones por condiciones del tiempo, excepto huracanes y tormentas tropicales porque en esta área llueve todos los días.

2. Cualquier violación a una orden administrativa del Gobernador o del Departamento de Salud, será causa para cancelar su reservación.

3. Por favor, estacione en las áreas designadas indicadas por el anfitrión, nunca en el puente Don Pepe u obstruyendo el camino.

4. No se tire ni deje a otros tirarse del puente a la charca del rio.

5. Agradecemos no traigan botellas y que tengan mucho cuidado con todo lo de cristal para evitar vidrios en el suelo.

6. El servicio de visitas es de lunes a viernes, el registro de entrada es 9am y el registro de salida es antes de las 5:00pm.

7. No podemos ser responsable del clima durante el periodo de la reservación. Si se va antes de terminada su reservación, no habrá reembolso del resto de la estadía.

8. Se permiten mascotas con correa todo el tiempo, el propietario de la mascota asume la responsabilidad por cualquier daño que cause el animal a la propiedad, acampadores o visitas.

9. No tire basura alrededor de la propiedad de Hacienda Monte Rey, hay un área de disposición de desperdicios en Hacienda Monte Rey cerca del puente. Para reciclar proveemos contenedores para plástico (P), aluminio (A), composta (C), y basura (B).

10. En el contenedor de composta se puede echar cascaras de frutas y vegetales no cocinados, borra de café y otros desperdicios bio degradables.

11. No se permite hacer hoyos para realizar las necesidades humanas, los empleados les presentará los baños disponibles en la propiedad.

12. Se permitirá fumar en la propiedad, pero se requerirá tirar las colillas filtros de cigarrillos en los contenedores de basura. Si se encuentran cigarrillos o basura en el suelo, se le cobrará un cargo adicional de entre $ 50 y $100.

13. Aceptamos que pacientes de Cannabis medicinal puedan consumir cannabis medicinal en su reservación, se requiere presentar licencia medicinal de cannabis para tener aprobación de administración. Seguir reglamento de Ley 42 – 2017 del Gobierno de Puerto Rico.

14. La administración no es responsable por la pérdida de pertenencias causadas por incendios, robos, accidentes o fenómenos naturales. Es importante tener mucho cuidado al compartir en el río, consciente de golpes o inundaciones periódicas, especialmente en los días que llueve. Usted es responsable de cualquier daño o pérdida causada por cada individuo de su reservación.

15. La administración se reserva el derecho de admisión y el derecho de desalojar a cualquier cliente o grupo que no cumpla con las reglas de la propiedad.

16. Pedimos proteger nuestra flora y no cortar las flores ni sacar plantas, helechos o árboles de la propiedad. Recursos Naturales también requiere permisos para extraer cualquier material del río.

a. Frutas y arbolitos frutales están disponibles a la venta cunado disponibles.

17. Si usted, miembro de su grupo o un invitado estaciona un vehículo fuera de las áreas de estacionamiento y termina el vehículo en fango, llamaremos un mecánico, grúa u operador de equipo pesado de la comunidad que le cobrará el servicio de sacar el vehículo al área transitable. No somos responsables de daños que surjan en el proceso de rescatar el vehículo.

18. El siguiente equipo no está permitido:

(a) Plantas eléctricas

(b) Vehículos ruidosos

(c) Four tracks y motoras de monte

(d) Bocinas
