Hi Mike, The response id cannot be reset. The workaround is to make a copy of the existing form and use it collect responses. The response id will start from 1 and it will be incremented by 1 for each new response.
This is a terrible "feature". I do not want to make yet another copy of the form. I want to delete abandoned submittals and clean the trash. This is a standard feature in form management.
Hi Doug, You can delete responses, but it will not reset the response number.
Delete abandoned responses
Login to Formfacade > click on the form to open it > Edit page will be displayed > click Responses > In the Responses page, click on the three dots more icon next to the Abandoned status > click Delete all > select Delete All and click Confirm. Please note that you can delete the abandoned responses older than 48 hrs only.
Note: Autosave option is enabled by default. When a user starts filling the form, Formfacade saves their response as a draft for 3 hrs. If the user starts filling the form, doesn't submit it, but returns within 3hrs, he can choose to continue from where he left off or start from scratch. You are able to view these partial responses in the Abandoned status. Since these could be drafts that the user is still editing, you cannot delete responses started in the last 48 hrs.
Delete responses
You can move redundant form submissions to Trash status. These responses will not be included in the Reports. If the Strict privacy is enabled, these responses will be permanently deleted after 7 days.
Login to Formfacade > click on the form to open it > Edit page will be displayed > click Responses > In the Responses page, you can drag and drop (place the cursor on the profile image/default icon to drag) responses to the Trash status or click on an response to view the details, select the Trash status for the Move to option and click Submit. When you move a response to the Trash status, any uploaded files will be deleted.
Enable Strict Privacy to delete responses
You can enable the privacy option to delete the responses in Abandoned and Trash status permanently. Login to Formfacade > click on the form to open it > Edit page will be displayed > click Responses > In the Responses page, click on the three dots next to the Abandoned or Trash status > You can enable the privacy settings and click Save.
When enabled, the responses in Abandoned and Trash status will be automatically deleted after 7 days. Please note that the Abandoned status will be hidden when the Privacy option is enabled.
