Using Google forms with Formfacade, we created a previous form with a field as a file upload. Now when we create a new form by copying the existing form in Google forms and link to Formfacade, the field does not come over to the new form as a file upload field. It works if I create a copy of the form in Formfacade; however, I am unable to link it back to Google to track responses in Google sheets.

Hi Angela, When you make a copy of your form in Google Forms, it will not copy the customization done using Formfacade. If you create a form in Google Forms, customize it using Formfacade/Petaform to convert the Google Forms file upload into html file upload to allow anonymous users to upload files without login, you will see a short answer question in Google Forms, but this will be displayed as a file upload button in Formfacade. When you make a copy of this form in Google Forms, the new form will not have a file upload question, but just a short answer question. There are two options. (1) Make a copy of the form in Formfacade. The new form will be created in Formfacade. Login to Formfacade > list of your forms will be displayed in the Forms dashboard > click on the More option for the form you would like to duplicate > click Make a copy > enter the form name and click Proceed > Edit page will be displayed > In the Formfacade Edit page, click on the gear icon next to the form title > Form settings page will be displayed > click Advanced > click Launch to open this form in Google Forms > you can then sync Google Forms responses to Google Sheets. (2) Make a copy of the form in Google Forms Once you make a copy of the form in Google Forms, change the question into file upload > click on the addon > click Formfacade/Petaform to convert this into html file upload.
