Hi - Which fields are you trying to edit in your form? Are you getting any error messages? Please share the relevant details so that we can check this.
Fields that CANNOT edited after clicking edit button:
- Email of Requester
- Name
- Name of Payee
- Method of Payment Requested
-Name of expense account to be charged
-Budgeted expense and <$1000?
- Store/Vendor
- Amount
- Is a receipt provided....
- Do you have another expense?
- First level approver email
- Does this requisition require additional approvals?
Fields that you cant edit after clicking edit button:
- Full Mailing Address of Payee
- Payee's Payment Handling Instructions
- Date
- Description of Goods/Service Paid
- Explanation of no receipt...
No error message. The field listed fields do not open up to allow any edits.
I'm sorry, I do not understand your question regarding the new editor or WYSIWYG. If used the edit button on the confirmation email, only some fields are editable in the Formfacade platform (not the original Google Forms).
Notify respondent
When you set up confirmation emails, you can enable the option to allow the form respondents to edit their response. They can click on the edit response option in the email to open their response, edit their answers and submit the form. They will be able to make changes to their responses anytime as long as the form is accepting responses.
If the respondent is not able to edit their answers, could you please copy the edit link they received in the confirmation email and send it to support@formfacade.com so that we can check this.
-x- Some notes for your reference -x-
If you subscribe to the Formfacade Enhance plans or Formfacade - Email notification plans, then you can setup the Notify collaborators to send notification emails for new responses to your team.
Notify collaborators
When you setup notification emails to your team, you can choose to enable the edit option. They can click on the edit response option in the email to open the submitted response, answer the office use fields and submit the form. They will not be able to edit the answers submitted by the respondent.
If you subscribe to the Formesign Compliance plans or Formesign - Signature workflow plans, then you can setup the Notify approvers to setup your workflow and also accept signatures.
Notify approvers
When you setup the workflow, you can create separate sections with fields that will have to be filled by the response users. When a user clicks on the edit response option, it will open the submitted response in the read only mode along with the editable fields relevant for that user workflow.

This is what I get when I hit the Edit response button as a collaborator. I do not have access to any other links to edit the response, so yes, this is what I get. As you can see, this does not allow me to edit many fields. If you have a different way of accessing the the form to edit, please share that with me as this is the exact problem I am coming to you with.
Also, I have asked submitters to hit their Edit response button on their confirmation email and they have confirmed that all of the field s are not editable on their end either.
The link you have shared is for the collaborators. They cannot edit the submitted response. They will be able to edit only the office use fields. Please note that this feature is not included in your subscription (refer to the reply above on 29-Aug).
You must enable the edit response option when set up the Notify respondent option to send a confirmation email. If this is setup correctly, respondents will be able to edit their submittted response.
