For multiple of our forms, our users are receiving errors when attempting to submit. One of the errors has been saying "Error: Submit failed Message: SyntaxError: Unexpected token 'I', "Internal S"... is not valid JSON. Submit it again. Contact owner, if this error occurs repeatedly. Response:	undefined #628" I linked below one of the forms that this is occurring with.
A second error that we have been continuing to see states, "Error:	Submit failed
Message:	Error: Not able to update this response in Google Forms. Submit it again. Contact owner, if this error occurs repeatedly.
Response:	2024 GBT 2-Hour Virtual Theory LIVE #147"
Please advise as these errors are affecting the workflows of our business.

When the user submits the form, the response is recorded in Formfacade and Google Forms. If there are any issues with submitting the form or recording the responses in Google Forms, we show an error message to the user and also send a notification email to the form creator. The submit can fail because there is an issue with the form, internet connectivity issue etc. The notification email will include the error message, draft id, link to the response (abandoned or submitted). If there are issues with submitting the form, then the email notification will include the draft id that is prefixed with *. If there are any issues with recording the responses in Google Forms, then the email notification will include the submit id that is prefixed with #. Invalid JSON error This error is caused due to network issues. Users just have to refresh the page and then try again or connect using their mobile data and try it. If the notification includes #628, then it indicates that the response has been submitted. You can click on the response link in the notification email and check the status message displayed above the form title. Not able to update this response in Google Forms This error indicates that the submit was successful and the response was recorded in Formfacade, but not updated in Google Forms. Google Forms might reject the responses if it fails any response validations (incorrect answers, missing answers for required questions or if you have enabled any of the features that require signin such as limit to 1 response, collect email address - verified input, send response receipts. You might have also noticed that sometimes Google Forms throws a "Something went wrong" error without giving any additional details. Please check your form set up. Login to Formfacade > click on the form to open it > Edit page will be displayed > click Responses > click on the response to view the details > click on the three dots more icon > click Edit > the response will open in a new tab (copy this link and share it with us) > click Submit and check if you are getting any error or if the response is recorded in Google Forms. If you need any help, send an email with the response link to support@formfacade.com

Thank you! Are you also able to share how to fix a date that is formatting incorrectly? We have a question on the form that asks to input a date mm/dd/yyyy. It is set up correct on google forms, and shows like it should be correct on google forms.. however, they are populating in our system as dd/mm/yyyy.

When a user clicks on the Formfacade share link to view the form, the format for the data widget will be based on the browser/device settings. When you send a confirmation email to the user using Formfacade, the date format will be set based on the locale selected in your form. Login to Formfacade > click on the form to open it > Edit page will be displayed > click on the gear icon next to the form title > Form settings page will be displayed > click Advanced > update the Locale details and click Save.
