I am working on a form for our volunteer car service which is part of our charity and wish to include calculations for the driver to establish how much he/she can keep as expenses and how much to collect from the client. I included Formfacade the other day as part of a free trial. There should have been some time left, but this facility has now disappeared. The form worked perfectly yesterday but not today. Have the calculations been lost permanently. Our Charity is happy to subscribe but we wanted to test the form with our drivers first.

Hi Alan, Once you have customized the google form using the Formfacade addon, you must use the Formfacade share link to collect responses. Otherwise, customization and calculations will not work. Which link are you using to collect responses? Please confirm.

I had shared the link and had received responses. The link was the one from the share button, while the form appeared the additional functions did not. I have now added the charity as a collaborator on their google account Ivybridgecta@gmail.com who I believe have now subscribed to Formfacade. My web developer has embedded the form into our website and I believe the calculations, which I created, are now working again.

Thanks for the update Alan. Note: There is no paid subscription linked with Ivybridgecta@gmail.com email account. If you are planning to use the share link or the embed code from this account to collect responses, you can subscribe to the paid plan using this account to continue using it after the trial ends.

I used the embedment code on a web page (WordPress) and the form is working correctly however, the width and height are not correct for the page to display well on a smart phone. The width is too great. On the original form which read OK on a mobile phone the width was 640 and the height 2829. The embedment code does not include any width & height information. Can this be added to the code? Most of our drivers will view on a phone. You are correct the person at Ivybridgecta@gmail.com has not subscribed yet he wanted to get the form working correctly first.

Hi Alan, When you embed the form on your website, the styles from your website are applied to the form. If the website is responsive, then the form should work well on mobile as well. Please share the link to the webpage where you have embedded the form so that we can check it.

Hi Vipin, The web address is https://www.ringandride.net/drivers/voluntary-drivers-new/ This is password protected. Use XXX as the password. The embed code was: <div id="ff-compose"></div><script async defer src="https://formfacade.com/include/106334475485046728205/form/1FAIpQLSf-ufrqw5UUKE9XmERdMefvQmhGDBPn0T8G7d2R7Imkto1TMg/wordpress.js?div=ff-compose"></script> The code for the form which displayed correctly on a mobile phone was: <iframe src="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf-ufrqw5UUKE9XmERdMefvQmhGDBPn0T8G7d2R7Imkto1TMg/viewform?embedded=true" width="640" height="2829" frameborder="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">Loading…</iframe> However the calculation function did not work.

Hi Alan, Viewport of your webpage is set with a fixed width of 990, which resembles the desktop mode. You should update the viewport to "width=device-width" (see below) so that it is automatically adjusted depending on the device. <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0"> Please try this and confirm.
