I have three file upload questions but when I am following the instructions to make the form available for public they questions are reverting back to short answer and not file upload
Google Forms file upload question requires signin. When you customize it using Formfacade, it converts this into a standard html file upload. You will see the file upload button in Formfacade, but it will be a short answer question in Google Forms. You must use the Formfacade share link to collect responses. When the user uploads a file and submits the response, the link to the uploaded files is recorded as a response for the file upload question. You can click on the link to access the files.
Once you have converted the file upload question using Formfacade, it will be a short answer question in Google Forms. You must NOT change it back to file upload in Google Forms.
If your primary requirement is to collect files, you can subscribe to the file upload plan 10gb, 100gb or 1tb and use the Petaform addon. You can increase the max file size to upto 1gb per file (depends on the plan), the number of files per file upload question, restrict file types, enable unlisted links to automate using Apps script or Zapier and use our Petaform addon to sync the uploaded files to your google drive.
