Hi Seema, if you would like the users to enter their answer instead of selecting an answer from the list of available choices for checkbox or multiple choice question, then you can enable the "Add other" option (see attached screenshot).

If you would like to collect additional information for the selected answers, then you can add a short answer or paragraph question with a placeholder text that provides a hint/instruction to the user.
