Is there a way to resend the initial email with the edit link or access the link to edit a submission? So folks are not receiving the confirmation email while some are.
Currently we do not have the option to resend confirmation emails. If you have setup the Email respondents option, users should receive an email when they submit the form. You can follow the instructions below to check the email status.
Login to Formfacade > click on the form to open it > Edit page will be displayed > click Responses > In the Responses page, click on the order to view the details > check the Additional details section. Does it display the email address for the Email respondents option?
- By default, it will display the configure link that indicates that the emails have not been set up.
- If the emails are configured and sent successfully, email addresses will be displayed.
- Otherwise, it will display the error message or 📫 icon next to the email to indicate that the email was not delivered.
If you have enabled the edit option in the Email respondents setup, the confirmation emails will include the link to edit the response. Users can click on this link to edit the response. Please note that the users will be able to edit the response anytime.
Otherwise, you can edit the response on behalf of the user using the Formfacade Responses page. Login to Formfacade > click on the form to open it > Edit page will be displayed > click Responses > In the Responses page, click on a response to view the details > click on the three dots more icon > click Edit > the response will open in a new tab > make the edits and submit the form.
Note: If you have subscribed to email collaboration, then you can create custom status to manage your workflow.
Create custom status
Login to Formfacade > click on the form to open it > Edit page will be displayed > click Responses > In the Responses page, click on the + Status button in the bottom right corner > enter the custom status (For ex: "Resend for Edit") > click Save to create additional status between Submitted and Completed status.
Setup confirmation emails for custom status
Login to Formfacade > click on the form to open it > Edit page will be displayed > click Responses > In the Responses page, click on the three dots icon next to the new custom status "Resend for Edit" > click Email respondents > setup wizard will be displayed > select the email field from the list, enable the edit response option and click Next > update the subject and click Next > update the message and click Next to complete the setup. When you move a response from the Submitted status to this custom status, the email will be sent to the user.
Change response status to send email
Login to Formfacade > click on the form to open it > Edit page will be displayed > click Responses > In the Responses page, you can drag and drop (place the cursor on the profile image/default icon to drag) responses to the new custom status "Resend for Edit" or click on the response to view the details, select "Resend for Edit" for the Move to option and click Submit.
Please work on the option to resend confirmation emails as there is a glitch in your system and it appears from all the comments that many customers are not receiving confirmation mails. This make it hard for customers to edit their responses without the ability to resubmit.
Did you check the additional details section for the responses? Could you please confirm if it shows the email address or any error message for Email respondents in the additional details section?
If it shows the email address, this indicates that the confirmation emails have been sent to that respondent. Please ask the respondent to check the spam or archive folder.
I have just verified that some respondents receive an email with the edit link, some respondents receive a blank email with an attachment, and some respondents do not receive any emails.

Without the options to resend confirmation emails, how can someone edit their original submission?
