Hi, I have a question. We are using a free plan and were wondering if we can customize the "Your response has been recorded" text within the free plan?

Hi Lana, You can update the confirmation message in Google Forms. Google Forms Open your form in Google Forms > click Settings > click Presentation > click on the Edit link for the confirmation message option > enter the thank you message and click Save. Formfacade Formfacade Customize UI paid plans provides you with additional customization options. You can change the submit button caption, show a personalized message or redirect users to another webpage on submit. Open your form in Google Forms > click on the addon icon > click Formfacade > click Customize this form > Edit page will open in a new tab > In the Formfacade Edit page, click on the gear icon next to the Submit button. Button settings page will be displayed. - enter a caption to change the button text - click On submit > select Show customized message for this button > enter the message and click Save. You can use the @ option in the editor to include specific fields to personalize the message or use the formatting options in the editor to make the text bold, italics, add a table, image, hyperlink etc - click On submit > select Redirect on submit > enter the url and click Save. Users will be redirected to this webpage when they submit the form.

Hi, thank you for your response. Also wanted to ask if we can align the text to the middle, or is this option only available with paid plan ?

Hi Lana, currently we do not have the option to change the text alignment. The text that you include in the thank you message will be left aligned.

noted, thank you! Another question is it possible to send an auto-reply email to users after they submit the form?

We are not using your template to create the form; we are only embedding it from Google. So does it mean we have to set the configuration from google instead ?

Your message is clear but could benefit from minor grammatical corrections and some clarity enhancements. Here's a revised version: Hi, We have embedded the Google Form using your extension. However, when users submit the form, we receive the following error: "Not able to update this response in the Google Form. Please submit it again. Contact the owner if this error occurs repeatedly." When I click the response link, it brings me here: https://formfacade.com/public/105955998173632115753/home/form/1FAIpQLSfKXg1EQY5VkPUUxl6TqzClP5r4dkyGLO4vVYVEJCs8pPtKdw?restoreId=-NrIvd7jTZGkUTXnO5gk When I submit it directly through this link, I don't get any error. However, when I submit the form using our website, it prompts me with the error mentioned above.

You can use the Formfacade share link or embed the form on your website using the Formfacade embed code and use the url of that webpage to collect responses. I just filled the form embedded on this webpage (https://www.akemihome.com/my/mattress/ewarranty-registration) and submitted a response to test the form. On submit, the thank you message was displayed. Your form is setup correctly and it works well without any issues. You can check if this response was recorded correctly in Google Forms and confirm. Notes for your reference: When the user fills the form and submits it, the response is recorded in Formfacade and Google Forms. If there are any issues with submitting the form or recording the responses in Google Forms, we show an error message to the user and also send a notification email to the form creator. The submit can fail because there is an issue with the form, internet connectivity issue etc. The notification email will include the error message, draft id, link to the response (abandoned or submitted). If the error for the response shows "Not able to update this response in Google Forms'', then this indicates that the submit was successful and the response was recorded in Formfacade, but not updated in Google Forms. Google Forms might reject the responses if it fails any response validations (incorrect answers, missing answers for required questions or if you have enabled any of the features that require signin such as limit to 1 response, collect email address - verified input, send response receipts. You might have also noticed that sometimes Google Forms throws a "Something went wrong" error without giving any additional details. Login to Formfacade > click on the form to open it > Edit page will be displayed > click Responses > click on the response to view the details > click on the three dots more icon > click Edit > the response will open in a new tab > click Submit and check if you are getting any error or if the response is recorded in Google Forms. This will allow you to confirm it this was a temporary issue or an issue with your form set up.

Noted, thank you for your response. I have one more question. Last week, I asked if we could enable email notifications when the e-warranty form is submitted. You provided an article on how to enable automatic emails. However, we created the form using Google Forms, not FormFacade. We only use FormFacade to embed the Google Form into our website. In this case, will I be able to set up email notifications for customers? If yes, could you please let me know under which plan this option is available?

If you would like to setup confirmation emails to the form respondents, you can set it up in the Formfacade Responses page. Login to Formfacade > click on the form to open it > Edit page will be displayed > click Responses > click on the three dots icon next to the Submitted status > click Email respondents > setup wizard will be displayed > select the email field from the list and click Next (note: this email field must be a mandatory field in the form) > update the subject and click Next > update the message and click Next > click on the link to open the form and submit a response to test confirmation emails. The customer should receive an email. When you set up the email notification using Formfacade, you can customize the subject and message as required. You can use the ${response()} formula to show a summary of all the answers or click on the @ icon in the message editor and select the required field from the list to include it in the message. Pricing plans If you would like to customize the ui, embed it on your website and send confirmation emails to form respondents, then you can subscribe to the Formfacade Customize UI paid plans. You can choose the plan based on the expected responses per month. https://formfacade.com/website/pricing.html If your primary requirement is to collect files, embed the form on your website and send confirmation emails to form respondents, you can subscribe to the file upload 10gb, 100gb or 1tb plan. You can increase the max file size to upto 1gb per file (depends on the plan), the number of files per file upload question, restrict file types, embed form, allow your team to access the uploaded files, enable unlisted links to automate using Apps script or Zapier and use our Petaform addon to sync the uploaded files to your google drive. https://formfacade.com/file-upload/pricing.html

Hi Lana, you have used Formfacade to embed the Google Forms on your website. Once you embed or customize a form using Formfacade, it will be added to the Formfacade Forms dashboard. You can directly login to Formfacade and access these forms to edit the form, manage the responses or set up confirmation emails.
