Hi Tomas, you can update the currency in the Button setting page. Login to Neartail > click on the form to open it > Edit page will be displayed > In the Edit page, click on the gear icon next to the submit button > Button settings page will be displayed > select the preferred currency and click Save.
Hello, I have done that several times
I have set currency in the google form and clicked on the neartail add-on and set to MXN - $
I then proceed to activate payments in the edit page in neartail and summary of order
But when I test for payment, Stripe tells me that I am sending charges in USD, and in my account I only can received payments in MXN
Can you help on this?
A quick additional question:
Once I set currency in google forms to MXN, what's the correct syntaxis for order amount? and summary? is it TOTAL("MXN($)") or is it TOTAL("MXN - $")
And should my form, in the question where product is presented should also read MXN?
If you create your form in Google Forms, you will have to set the currency in the form when you customize it using the Neartail addon.
Open your form in Google Forms > click on the addon icon > click Neartail > click Calculate order amount > select the currency, enable format prices option, click Next > select the Calculate from price option, click Next > click Customize > Edit page will open in a new tab > you can then enable payments. The addon will automatically add a short question with the TOTAL() formula to calculate the amount. You don't have to pass the currency in the TOTAL function as it will automatically identify it based on the currency settings in the form.
If you created the form using the Neartail templates, it will automatically set the currency based on our location. You can update the currency in the Button setting page. Login to Neartail > click on the form to open it > Edit page will be displayed > In the Edit page, click on the gear icon next to the submit button > Button settings page will be displayed > select the preferred currency and click Save.
When you create your first form in Neartail, it will set the currency in that form as the default currency for your account. In your case, it was set to USD. That's why when you enable payments in your form, the amount passed is in USD. We have updated the currency for your account to MXN. Please try now and confirm.
