In the description field for my product, I want to add a link to an external webpage. When I preview my form and click on the link, it takes me out of my order page to the external page. Is there a way to add a link but have it open a new tab, so that my order form stays visible?

Hi - If you click on the link icon in the editor for the product description and add a hyperlink, this link will always open in a new tab. If you are facing any issues, please share the link for your form along with the name of the product with hyperlink in the description.

I did share the link of my form. One of the products is Prairie Coreopsis (Coreopsis palmata). In preview it opens the page in the form window and not in a new tab. The customer would have to use their back button to get back to the form and some might not know that or it may affect their order so I want it to be a new tab.

In the Neartail Edit page, click on the product to select it > click on the gear icon for that product > Product settings will be displayed > delete the link that you have added in the description > click on the three dots more icon > click on the link icon > enter the url, text and click Ok to add a hyperlink. When the user clicks on the link, it will open in a new tab. Please try this and confirm.

Thanks. When I do it that way it works. I was typing in the text in the description and then hyperlinking the text using the link icon. That way didn't open a new tab. But putting the text I want linked directly into the text field of the link icon window does produce the desired result.
